An exhibition of work by the British photojournalist, best known for his war photography and images of urban strife.

Starting out as a photographer's assistant in the RAF in the 1950s, McCullin worked in the field for over 20 years. His work documents conflict around the world, from Cyprus to Beirut, with his pictures from the troubles in Northern Ireland and the Vietnam War being particularly highly regarded. In 1968, his Nikon camera stopped a bullet that was intended for him.

McCullin has said that his work isn’t simply about capturing photographs but about humanity, and through his eyes we see the sick, the downtrodden and the impoverished.
