The National Original Print Exhibition Contemporary Arts Trust prize 2018 was awarded to Julie Dean for her bold woodcut composition "Port of Liverpool from Salthouse Quay". The judges were captivated by her impressive large size woodcut composition, coming from a young artist who will go on to create many more strong images. The National Original Print Exhibition, established by the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE), is an international open-submission exhibition celebrating the best of contemporary printmaking.
